Rojda and Malik sat on the musty old couch in the cabin, the flickering candle casting shadows across their faces. Rojda's mind was a jumbled mess of thoughts, trying to piece together her memories and figure out what Malik was talking about.
"Are you sure you don't remember anything, Rojda?" Malik asked, his voice softer than before.
Rojda shook her head, "I wish I did. I feel like I'm missing something, but I can't remember what it is."
Malik sighed and rubbed his forehead, "We need to find a way to jog your memory. Maybe there's something in this cabin that could help."
Rojda looked around the dark and dusty room, "What are we looking for?"
Malik thought for a moment before responding, "I'm not entirely sure. But I know that the portal key is connected to your memories in some way. Maybe there's something here that can trigger them."
Rojda nodded, feeling a sense of frustration at her own lack of memory. She wished she could remember something, anything, that could help her and Malik on their journey.
As they began to search the cabin, Rojda felt a strange sensation, almost like a tingling in the back of her mind. She paused for a moment, trying to focus on the feeling.
"Malik, wait," Rojda said, her voice barely above a whisper.
Malik turned to look at her, "What is it?"
"I feel something...like a memory trying to surface," Rojda said, her eyes closed as she concentrated.
Malik walked over to her, "What do you see?"
Rojda opened her eyes, "I see a door...a door with symbols etched into it. And there's a man, an old man with a long beard. He's telling me something, but I can't hear him."
Malik's eyes widened, "That's it! The portal! The door with the symbols, that's the entrance to the portal. And the old man, he's the guardian of the portal. He must have given you the key."
Rojda's mind was racing, trying to piece together the fragments of her memory. "But where is the key now? And how do we get it back?"
Malik looked at her, determination etched on his face. "We'll find it, Rojda. We'll find a way to get your memory back and stop the darkness from taking over."
As they continued to search the cabin, Rojda felt a sense of hopelessness begin to wash over her. What if she never regained her memories? What if they were too late to stop the darkness?
But as she looked at Malik, his face set with determination, Rojda felt a glimmer of hope. They were in this together, and they would do whatever it took to save the world.
